Located in Elk Grove Ca. serving the pet community since 2002, The Pets Inn, (formerly The Hollywood Pet Resort), has emerged as Elk Grove's premiere pet home care facility. The Pets Inn has over twenty years of extensive experience in all animal care. We specialize in cage free dog boarding with a play all day environment.  

We understand how uncomfortable it is to have a stranger come into your home to feed, water & exercise your pet while your gone. Also you may feel that your local dog kennel cannot give your pet the individual attention they deserve.

What makes The Pets Inn so unique or different? Superior care with personalized attention. Yes, your pet will think it never left home with our personalized pet friendly accommodations. No cold cement kennels or small cramped cages here. Your pet will experience comfy couches, low lying beds, large rooms with windows and air control. 

We are currently taking reservations for birds, cats, dogs, exotics, rabbits, reptiles and rodents, licensed and insured for your pets' protection.

The Pets Inn is the smallest, most personal boarding facility in Elk Grove & Sacramento.

Hours -  Due to our cage free environment we want to ensure a calm and secure environment for all our pet guests, so a scheduled appointment is necessary. Please keep in mind that children and those that feel intimidated  by large dogs, cats, large birds, rodents, snakes or exotic pets should not accompany a tour. Only 2 people per family please. All pets will be confined to an area or kenneled for insurance purposes & to ensure your safety upon your tour.

Requirements -for first time potential clients

Call to schedule a tour & consultation, please do not bring your pet on your tour, because we need to see a copy of your pets vaccine records prior to letting your dog on the premises. At the time of your consultation we might if necessary offer a free dog day care day, for your pet to see how it will fit into this type of environment. If you decide to book with us at this time, you will be required to fill out the contract & put down a deposit for your pets stay.
